symptoms related to diseased organs such as gallstones, kidney stones,
certain cancers and appendicitis. Our facility is equipped with the most
advanced ultrasound imaging procedures including Color and Pulsed Doppler
to evaluate blood vessels in the abdomen and 4 D ultrasound to provide you
and your physician with the most information regarding the health of your
organs.
Images are taken using a hand held probe lubricated with a warm gel
applied over your abdomen. Your images will be recorded on film and
interpreted by a Radiologist, a doctor who specializes in ultrasound and a
report promptly sent to your doctor. Abdominal Sonograms are painless and
are approximately 30 minutes in length.
